Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) Projects

Mainly managed by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) are governmental competitive funds that aim to significantly develop scientific research. KAKENHI covers basic to applied research in all fields, ranging from the humanities and the social sciences to the natural sciences.
